After that you reinstall DVDShrink and do your business. Then Reinstall NERO and restart your computer. First uninstall DVDShrink, then uninstall NERO. I also have AnyDVD, and Clone DVD2 which both work fine and I am able to burn with Clone DVD2, but I miss Shrink. I have installed Nero 10(talk about bloatware), and with this new PC, DVD Shrink tells me that I need to install Nero to "enable burning", but Nero works fine(I've tested it) I always used XP Pro and recently took the plunge and bought a new PC with Windows 7 Pro Home version. Painful maybe, but perhaps the only thing worth trying if you're a little set in your ways like me. The only thing I can think of for Nero 10 but haven't tried yet is to rip an iso to your HDD using Shrink and use Nero to open that image file. That fragmented install ticking off anyone else?! That particular version of Nero is unfortunately pretty limited as far as the kind of trickery you can indulge in as far as importing certain video content.and it constantly asks for activation despite having got it all legit from the sods at Nero themselves!!!Īlthough Nero 10 can do some freaky good stuff as far as video file conversions and the like, the problem still exists that Shrink still asks for Nero to be installed to enable burning.and I have tried every possible install/uninstall/re-install combination I can think of. Shrink also works fine for me on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, 4Gb ram & it recognizes Nero 9.2.6.1 for burning. Something about not being able to build a graph.
